Our Christmas Menu is available 12-3pm / 5-9pm Monday to Saturday, from 25th November  to the 23rd December.

Starters

  • Forest Fungi soup with confit garlic focaccia, topped with pickled shallots and enoki mushrooms (V, VeA*, GFA*)
  • Ham and pea terrine, pickles, honey mustard dressing & bread (GFA*)
  • Whole baked Camembert with balsamic onions & dipping bread (V, GFA*)
  • Smoked haddock & spring onion fishcakes with tartare sauce & watercress (G)

Mains

  • Traditional Turkey (GFA*)
    Served with stuffing, pigs in blankets, cranberry jus, and all the trimmings.
  • Beef Hot Pot (GFA*)
    Braised beef, red wine, bacon and baby onions, topped with confit potato and served with seasonal vegetables.
  • Venison Burger (GFA*)
    A juicy 6oz venison burger topped with onion marmalade and brie, served with chips & slaw
  • Braised Squash, Creamed Mushroom & Leek Bake (V, GFA*)
    Served with baby carrots & greens.
  • Winter Warmer Pizza (V, VeA*, GFA*)
    Tomato base topped with mozzarella & Cheddar, caramelised onions, walnuts and brie, finished with rosemary.
  • Christmas Sensation Pizza (GFA*)
    Pulled turkey with gravy, pigs in blankets, and vegetable crisps.

Desserts

  • Sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce & vanilla ice cream (V, G)
  • Mulled pear with a biscuit crumble and chocolate sorbet (V, VeA*, GFA*)

We get very busy at during the Christmas period, so to avoid disappointment please book early via online booking form.

Quick-Fire T&Cs

 

Step 1: Book with us! Once you have confirmed your party date and time, we will need a full pre-order. This is due at least six weeks before your booking. Please note that our Christmas Menu can’t be mixed with our main menu.

 

Step 2: Once you have made your booking, we will request a £10 per person deposit within 14 days, made payable by cash, card or online.

 

Step 3: Finalise all your arrangements. If for whatever reason someone from your party needs to cancel, please ensure we are notified at least seven days before the booking, otherwise their deposit will be forfeited.

 

Step 4: On arrival, we will request full payment for the balance of your party. Any additional costs for drinks etc will be payable after your meal. Step 5: Glam up, put your best outfit on, and join us for a lovely Christmas meal!

Local Suppliers

 

Our Head Chef, Steve Hoyle, sources his ingredients locally where possible.

 

We aim to source all our meat from the West Country, and we use a high-quality Devon butcher. Our fish comes mainly from Brixham, and our mussels are from the River Teign, Teignmouth. We get our fruit and vegetables from a local greengrocer.

 

Steve and his team take pride in preparing all dishes here in our kitchen.

 

We even smoke our own meat, fish and cheese on the premises.
